The Mission

From founder's desk

More than three decades ago it was anticipated that in the coming digital age computer and its software will play the major role in the development of the society. Thus the ‘Institute of Computer Sciences’ was formed in 1984. Now it is an undisputed fact that computer-software industry had a significant contribution in the economic growth of the country.

In early 90s the institute initiated the idea of teaching the school students with the help of multimedia & Audio-visual aids and conducted successful programs for maths and science. After a decade many of the leading schools have started adopting this concept through smart boards etc..

Further, in future it is expected that the traditional fabrication methods and manufacturing processes will be replaced by the emerging technology of 3D Printing. It will not only revolutionize industrial activities but it will also influence all walks of daily life, including health care. Consequently, there will be a huge bank of opportunities in this sector. Visualizing this fact, the ‘Institute Computer Sciences’ has initiated education and training programs on 3D Printing Technology to maintain the pace with the latest developments so that our society remains ahead in technology.

Director’s Message

Institute of computer Science s has been promoting those technologies which has significant impact on future development. My basic objective of actively associating with the ‘Institute’ is to promote the Technology which is going to influence the progress of new generation.

On the basis of my 25 years of experience in the field of education as teacher, lecturer, academic supervisor and Principal, I have a strong perception that 3D printing will become as important for the careers of the students in future as computers are now. So I feel 3D Printing training must start from the school level to better equip the young generation with the technology of the future.
